still haven't heard anything from the sheriff's dept. i'm starting to get bummed out again. Why do these people keep getting my hopes up? it makes my current job seem so crappy in comparison.
Went ice-skating with my dad last Saturday. It was his birthday. Now I really really wish we had an indoor ice rink here in town. It was awesome to step out of the heat for a couple of hours and skate. even though I fell and now i have bruises on my knees again.
A friend is moving in with me this week. Should be interesting. I've never had a roomate before except for my husband. She's 19 and a little bit crazy. She's also a total sweetheart and we love her but I'm sure she'll shake things up around our quiet little house for a while.
