well, i had a darn good birthday. all of the Happy Birthday comments in my journal made me really happy.
went to lunch with the inlaws. went and got ice cream. played with presents. saw Sin City. got a little drunk. generally had a really good day.
My aunt sent me this wonderful book. It's a fairy tale, but there's clues and a code and stuff hidden in the text and pictures, and it's a treasure hunt. if you figure out the clues they're supposed to tell you where you can find these 12 jewels hidden around the states. I can't believe how cool this is. and it's hard! i've only been able to find little stuff so far, but i can already tell that this book is going to drive me insane for a VERY long time.

I stopped reading fiction about ten years ago so I'm glad to be rid of them. Theirs a big ass clean spot on my shelf where they used to be. Mmmmm clean.
