have you ever gone without washing your hair for so long that it starts to look and feel like that plastic doll hair? i'm reaching that point. it's just that i'm already cold all the time and whenever i'm in the bathtub i don't wanna get my hair wet because that means i either have to blow dry it right away or be freezing until it's dry.

I remember one time I was growing my hair out and I started to look like a hedgehog; more fur than hair. That's as close to having plastic doll hair I've gotten.

Sorry to hear about the chill. My sister has much the same problem. She's always cold.
