okay, so i haven't updated in a while. okay, a long while. I'm still here *waves* I just don't get much alone time at the computer.
I've taken a break from the treasure hunt book. I was getting nowhere so I just had to put it down for a while. I just finished reading the Golden Compass trillogy and i LOVED IT. I can't wait for the movie to come out and I really hope they don't ruin it.
I went for a motorcycle trip with my dad. It was fun. We went to Seattle to see my sister and stay with some cousins. we went to the zoo and went for a ferry ride. I got to eat some good sushi. I got to wear leather and pretend to be all badass. it was fun. But 4 days on a motorcycle is exhausting and 4 days with my dad is almost torture so it was good to get home.
so now I'm back to my normal routine of working and sleeping and reading and playing with cats. The weather has been really nice so far this summer. not too hot yet. I don't thing I'm working dispatch for any of the concerts this summer. I could always use that extra money, but it's nice to have my weekends free. I think I might get stuck working at the sheriff booth at the fair this year though. at least the food is good.
right now I'm waiting for my crazy neighbor guy to come back with tools and fix my car. I don't know why he's fixing my car... he just offered out of the blue (the front bumper got hit by something and came loose on one side) I don't even know this guy. It's just so weird to me. It happened a couple weeks ago. I don't know how the car got messed up but I noticed it one morning and i was out looking at it and he came over and said he could fix it. but then he had to do something else and then I went out of town and left the car sitting at my parent's house. then the other day I ran into him at the gas station and he was all like - when do you want me to come over and fix the car? so here i am. I don't really socialize with my neighbors, so it's just weird to me that he'd be so randomly nice since we've never even spoken before.
well, i guess I should go eat some lunch before he gets here.
