k, i'm back. and wouldn't you know it, stormy's set went up the day i got cut off from the internet. *sigh* i'd been waiting so long for that set. i finally got to see it though, and it is beautiful. and i can finally put her as one of my favorite girls. 
so, i'm moved. and i love my new place. it's fucking huge compared to my old apartment. i'm actually UPSTAIRS right now in the COMPUTER ROOM. incredible. so we got the internet hooked up today and when i finally got my turn on the computer, the mouse died. it's little tail just wouldn't connect anymore. so we had to make an emergency trip to Staples to get a new one. i tried to convince Garrett to get one of those teeny tiny little laptop size mice, just cuz they're so damn cute, but he said no. but i did get one of the pink uniball fusion pens, and he got the mouse he wanted, and we still had money for beer and cigarettes, so everyone went home happy. and now i'm back.
the kitties are adjusting nicely to their new home. they know where the litter box is and there's lots of new things to climb. stairs to run up and down. counters to get in trouble for climbing on. there's even a fenced in back patio that they love to play on. Atrus will sit by the back door and cry till someone will go outside with him. Last night i tied a string to one of their favorite mice toys and ran them up and down the stairs until they were exhausted and panting. they slept really well. they have an appointment on Tuesday to be fixed and declawed. i'm so nervous. they don't like going to the vet very much and they're gonna have to spend the night. but it needs to be done. and then they can go outside whenever they like and i won't have to go with them cuz i'm afraid they're gonna climb the fence and run away. it will be a good thing, but i'm still nervous. i'm afraid they're gonna hate me for taking them to the vet and leaving them.

Lakewood used to be part of Tacoma.. I'm between Tacoma and Ft. Lewis. There are good parts and bad parts of Lakewood.. I'm *finally* in a decent part.
