this turned into another lazy day. i had some serious plans to get a bunch of my moving stuff done today, but it never really happened.
i went and asked my new landlord when i could start moving stuff over to the new place. she said that i could start putting stuff in the garage today. the carpets were being cleaned, and i could go right over and unlock the garage and start hauling my stuff over. well, neither me nor the carpet guys could get the garage unlocked. *sigh* so nothing got moved today.
she said she'd get me a key tomorrow though, and we'd figure out how to get into the garage. this is really good news, because my bedroom and hallway are filling up with boxes.
I did turn it into a pretty productive night though. i just finished cleaning the hell out of my bathroom. i got everything cleaned out and boxed up except for the stuff we'll need for the next week or so. i scrubbed the sink and toilet and shower. it hurts to go in there now it's so blindingly white again. i still need to clean the floor, but i don't see the point in doing that right away because the kitties will still be tracking litter all over it anyway.
it finally feels like i'm making progress. i am SO ready to move.
