okay, i haven't updated my journal in like 2 months, i've been pretty lame really, not much to update. and i'm lazy. But i'm updating now in honor of my friend Gabe who i just found out has been a member of this site since August. (and i just found out! seriously, boys, gee-whiz. I swear, they see boobies and forget they have friends 
)
anywhoo, life has been pretty steady and noneventful. work is lame and the same as always. maybe a little more stressful because we've been really busy and don't have the staff to cover it so i've been working more hours. I actually got overtime last week for the first time in almost 5 years of working there. pretty cool i thought.
had a good Thanksgiving with the inlaws. all of MY crazy family was gathered at my parent's house this year and i didn't have to deal with it, so that was nice. just made an appearance later in the evening to say hi but managed to get out of having to spend the whole day with everyone.
The ice skating rink is open and that makes me happy. I have my own skates so i can just go whenever and skate around a bit. Last year my dad and i tried to go together once a week, but i don't see that happening this year because my days off are so sporadic.
My little sister finally moved out on her own. I went and saw her new place today and it's pretty cute. So now that she's not living and fighting with my parents all the time i'm gonna have to compete for "favorite daughter" status which has been mine with little effort for the last few years (although she claims that we will always be second in line to the dog... which is pretty sad but true. my poor sister. always stuck in the middle child position because of the dog.)
the cats are doing good....
i should be sleeping....
i'm running out of things to update....
I need to make a christmas list. What cool stuff should i ask for?
