It's amazing at how fast things can be put into perspective.
The friend is doing alright; they are looking for a psych center in Mass with a free bed for her.
It's like instant deja vu, only this time it's not me, it's one of my best friends. But fear not! My darling is a resilient girl, and she will be fine.
It sickens me, though, to see how her family and boyfriend reacted. And I quote.. "You're such a burden." "You're such a drama queen." "I have no reason to be here." I suppose I was lucky in that sense. Granted my father saw it as taking time away from work, ya know, to take care of his anorexic daughter. But I guess that's what friends are for. They're *real* family.
Now I'm off to see the boy, get me some sweet lovin', and visit my girl tomorrow.
