It's raining and Tom Waits's Alice is on Itunes. I am in a quandary over my music buying these days. The last two albums I bought Black Rebel Motorcycle Club and The Coral both had Sony/BMG's new copy protection software enabled on the cds making it impossible to import to Itunes. I know that Tower Records have been getting a lot of complaints and returns because there isn't a label on the new cds that clearly states that the cd will not be compatible with Itunes. My problem is I lost the goddamned receipts. So I just had to go on a torrent site to steal what I bought. I try to support the music biz, but it is such a whiney greedy little bitch they all deserve to be stolen from. That will be the last "protected" cd I buy and I surly won't lose the receipt next time.

On another note, I keep thinking it is Friday, and I am ready to go out tonight. Neko, hyperham, (I have no idea who she is, I only know hypes and I found him to be a very cool dude (To Rusty James, a very cool dude! - guess that movie line?) and others are talking about this David Lynch appearance at NYU I would love to go to and I am considering it. I might bring along my friend Mark if he can get away from the hospital...I want to see if Lynch goes to the bathroom every 3 minutes like he is reported to do when filming. He has a bladder problem and just lets loose on the set right in front of the crew and actors; that's what I read anyway.

It's rainy and gray and I will read and nap the day away. In a bit the old man and I will go get some burgers, and I will tell him my plans of getting out by late Oct, earlier if possible...

I am hesitant to say my next venture, but soon enough...

Maybe I will see some people this weekend. I have to make sure PixelPimp keeps his mouth away from my package.
