*I live in San Diego and I love it as far as shows and music but it's pretty rough to make friends. Really. The people I think are going to be pretty good friends tend to end up being phonies who are looking for someone easy to take advantage of when it benefits them, and yes, that's me.
*I wish I'd get some of my San Jose friends to move down here but I know that's unrealistic.
*I'm in love with that band, the Valley Arena. Their song "Into the Lion's Mouth" is insanely good. It starts out sounding like Jawbox and ends up like Drive Like Jehu.
* I am going to a bunch of amazing shows coming up, The Get Up Kids, NERD with Black Eyed Peas, The Mars Volta.
*so that makes it hard to complain too much.
