I don't think where the stars are today have any bearing on any one persons life now... BUT If you give any credence to the thousands of years of observation of personality traits of people born to certain time frames... AND you accept that our being is made up of mostly electrical impulses, a form of energy, which cannot be created or destroyed only flow into a new form... THEN you may wonder if the ever changing positioning of the stars and planets with their collective magnetic fields can act as a tumbler of sorts for the different signatures of electrical impulses, allowing some to find it's way to earth more easily than others. YOU JUST MAY consider the existence and possible location of a holding area where an infinite number of differing collections of electrical impulses are patiently waiting their turn to return to corporeal form.

I think the disciplines of science, needs to look past the nursery rhyme style presentations of all the different forms of recorded observations, and apply a little thought to the possibilities of the universe beyond what is observable.
