I've just spent an hour tooling around on SG...could this be a sign of things to come?
The exam was a bear...a polar bear, and I was looking for a grizzly. It kicked my ass, and it wasn't enjoyable. My brain is now poop. (As perhaps a comparison of this entry to previous will attest.) My eyes are dry and sore. But I'm wearing my favorite jacket, it smells like Arabian Musk....which my nose confuses for a friend and lover I haven't seen in a long time...and this makes me feel good. Smells are amazing things; I've always been fascinated with smell and memory.
this is a lame entry, but I felt compelled....
suddenly it sounds liks someone is on my roof! Wicked strange.

it's probably selfish no matter what decision you make...selfish to have them despite the bad things in the world and selfish to not have them because you don't want to spend time on another being. But I don't think selfish is a necessarily bad thing, so I don't use the term negatively.
