I am taking a break from reading Victorian People and Ideas, as well as the associated paper that must follow. I am thinking fondly of the days when I still consumed soda pop and fighting the urge to backslide, and I am certain that having said soda pop, mixed with Bourbon is NOT backsliding, but a conscious choice not to drink my caramel coloring neat.
