Ok this is the sorty of the Bartend gig nightmare from hell..
Get to Joe the bartender at 4pm get all the shit sorted and figured out, Get in their truck which is loaded with with all our booze and shit, Which is a piece of shit truck, I start driving to the place, we have to stop by a liquor store and pick up more beer. We do, I get back in the truck and it wont start. So the other bartender I was with gets a taxi to her parents house to borrow her dads truck get back to where our truck is stalled. Load up our shit as quickly as possible and we went on your way. Not to mentions its a 45 minute drive away.
Unload everything into the other truck, By now were late. Get there set up as quickly as possible, and we are totally unorganized. A big rush comes in. We not adequately stoked with product, We run out of diet pepsi in the first hour! Run out of rye, ginger ale, and wine. 12 bottles of wine isnt enough for a crowd of about 150! Fucking stupid! Not to mention we ran out of change like 4 times! So the other bartender went to the nearest gas station which was like 20 minutes away, that still wasnt enough change, so we had to keep asking for change from the customers..Not good.And people are not happy,
SO the end of the night, we pack up our shit and get back to Joe the Bartender unload everything and I do the cash out, I cant find the key to the door anymore I think I put it in the safe, So we leave the garage door open until I can drive the other bartender to drop off her dads truck, She cant figure out how to get the cab light off. Get back I find the front door key in my pocket. By now its 4am Relieved we head our separate ways. She was nice and all but not any type of girl I would date. I think I freaked her out with my piercings too. She was very normal One of those girls that are just like everyone else. Seriously get a personalityBe original!
Whatever. We walk away with 50 bucks in our pockets. I was nice enough to give a student I was training half of the tips. I think Im too nice some times..
