so, a colleague and i published an op-ed piece in the Sunday NYTimes and now I'm getting hate-mail galore from around the world! what fun.

well, i dont know. i applied and sent them my transcripts from american schools, but i had a 4.0 grade point average. i had to attend an interview which turned out to be just an informal chat with the head of the art/archaeology department because he liked meeting people that he thought was interesting. 
so i felt good about that. 
and i asked him if i would be accepted on the course and he laughed and said of course.
