not much good happening here...
trevor is home but we're now sure he has cancer and heart disease and probably won't be with us long. chemo might prolong his life a few months, so we're considering that, but i'm generally feeling overwhelmed with responsibility for giving him a good death... when a human dies, they can at least contribute to decisions (hopefully). it's completely up to us w/ trevor, and who knows what he wants/needs?
cat chemo is supposed to be pretty mild, and we're determined to do everything we can, but it's still scary knowing he will ultimately get sicker and need intervention of some kind. (if there is a god, perhaps she could let him pass in his sleep? )
trevor had a coughing fit last night, and it was just a painful reminder that something's desperately wrong inside...
sorry to be such a bummer this week, folks. this ain't easy.
