Why is it that any republican/GOP nutjob can unleash any bullshit statement, and hardly a single question is asked, but when a more liberal or "moderate" person says anything, it's held under harsh scrutiny?
Is it because the moderate guy is expected to be comprehensive? And the conservative douche is just expected to sling whatever shit enters his head, in every direction he can?
This just happened with an old friend. He said something that was not really well thought out, and I called him on it. Then his other friend chimes in about how "liberal people" (I) acted towards Bush, vs how we act about Obama. So I go into the reasons why Bush's actions warrented our thoughts, but that so far, Obama hasn't.
But apparently, none of that had to do with the ORIGINAL comment, and therefore didn't matter, and that I should stop watching MSNBC (which I don't).
So my friend and his are congradulating each other on a "win", where as I'm confused.... at what point do I stop trying to act reasonable? At what point do I start acting like I'm talking to children? When can I stop saying everything twice (the second time is slowed down, with dots being connected at SUPER SLOW speed)?
I'm done being reasonable, or trying to be the moderate. REPUBLICANS ARE CRAZY. THE GOP IS EVIL.
