I decided to break out my extended editions of The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings and watch them in order. This may become a tradition. I always watch all of the Harry Potter movies at the end of the year. Something about Christmas makes me want to watch Potter movies or read all the Potter books. Now I think LOTR and The Hobbit may be how I start my year. I know there were some details left out and liberties taken with the story line. I mean honestly, the amount of content in books The Silmarilion, The Hobbit and Lord of the Rings is almost overwhelming. I still think this is a fantastic way to spend around 20 hours of television time.
