Happy New Year
Next year, I hope to simplify my life.
Just run and run ... oh, and find a new job that doesn't make me want to stick a pen in my eye
... and also figure out a way to grow food in Brooklyn 
... and start a not-for-profit or maybe a biodiesel business ... and get a new tattoo
... and a new pair of glasses ... and try to learn how football works ... and ride my bike more ... and do that swim across the East River, under the Brooklyn Bridge, in May ... and learn more soup recipes ... and brew my own beer (preferably an IPA) ... and start boxing or get into a fight club or something comparably violent and masculinely cathartic
... and play more shows with my band
... and go to the Caribbean or Mexico again ... stop being so stressed out (see finding a new fucking job that doesn't make me want to stick a pen in my eye
