what is the one specific item of clothing that is your favorite, the one you cannot live without? the one item that you wear way too many times, the one item that you should probably throw or give away?
about 6 years ago i had this plain maroon t-shirt that i could not stop wearing. it was one of those really thin stretchy t-shirts, almost transparent. one of my friends actually took it from my room and threw it on the roof. i had no idea where it was for MONTHS. one drunken night, we climbed to the roof to jump into the pool, and THERE IT WAS! one half was bleached from the sun. i didn't care, i started wearing it again and did so until it pretty much dissolved.

just force of habit from constantly wanting to rearrange and throw things out!
