Did you know that when you get chicken pox as a kid the virus never goes away - it lies dormant on your nerve endings, until the moment your immune system is down and it reactivates - only now it's very painful. One good point is it only attacks a specific area of the body and it's new name is shingles. Something I thought only old people got - I mean old people. And it won't just go away - as a matter of fact the longer it goes the more susceptible you are to getting PHN - post herpetic neuralgia - which basically means up to a year of pain - and lucky me I got it. As if I didn't have a hard enough time sleeping and now this.
At least my project of putting my cd's on my computer for my non-existent I-Pod will be done sooner than I thought with all this non-sleep. I only have like 500+/- more cds to go -
Lets see what else the girls went to the groomers on Friday and are now adorable they always were now the look the part even more.
Next weekend I head to Dallas, TX for a class. This puts me 3 hours from my big cats, so I will be visiting them while I am down there. Then its back home and try to prepare for winter - fall is in the air especially at night.
And I work for a great company new benefits coming out and they added this section. Does not effect me but its nice to see that they care and realize gender does not a partner make: Domestic Partner Coverage Beginning in 2006, we will offer domestic partner coverage under the benefit plans. Domestic partners may be covered as dependents under the medical, dental, vision, dependent life and AD&D plans. Domestic partners include both same and opposite gender couples who, in addition to other qualifications, have resided together for a continuous period of 24 or more months. Contact the AESC to receive information about the additional qualifications, premium taxation, and to request an affidavit to apply for domestic partner consideration.

i had the chicken pox when i was younger. my mom made me take hot bathes and sleep in her super hot waterbed so the pox would get as bad as possible so they wouldnt come back. so far so good..
