who wants banana bread - went crazy and now i have 12 loafs. it cold and very windy here today. any chance of snow seems to be blowing away. the sun did come out for a little while today, but the wind blew it out.
holidays used to be a wonderful time of the year - decorating, baking, time spent with family and friends. now it seems so un-holiday to me. did get a tree and new white lights as the roomie wanted white this year instead of mult-color. but it still seems blah.

Family is thousands of miles away and they won't venture to my home in the winter due to the unpredicatbility of the weather - they just assume that the midwest is buried in snow all winter long. friends are all going home for the holiday's - i could work but don't want to.
