Introduction

When I was 18 I decided to take up photography using my mothers Nikon D40X. What came of that decision is an everlasting passion that can also be considered at therapeutic for the anxiety I was struggling with. On one of the first "shoots" I went on, I had this idea to have a friend pose with his back turned towards me. That photo ended up sparking inspiration inside of me to start a project in which I took the focus away from the human subject and gave it to the beautiful planet that we live on yet take for granted daily. No faces, no focus on humankind other than appreciating what the world has to offer. Although I have not focused on this project much as of late, it is still something I hold near and dear to my heart.
