Hey SG land! I hope everyone's doing fine, yada yada... you know what I mean by now.

I come to you today with questions! (especially for those of you who are more versed in the psychedelic side of things)

So recently I've been curious about trying LSD and just the other day a friend of mine offered to get me some and I think I'm gonna go for it!

And so I come here to receive from your collective knowledge about this. Should I worry about something in particular? Do you have any tips on how to make my trip better? Music, snacks, environment, company, etc...?

I already know some stuff like clearing a whole day and making sure you have a healthy mindset going into it. I don't suffer from depression or any mental illness that I know of (except maybe overthinking shit to death but that's neither here nor there 😅) but feel free to enlighten me in any way! 🤗

I want to take a safe approach to this because I've always been very wary of drugs in general. My mother had/has? an alcohol problem that totally destroyed my family and for a long time I've had a severe disdain for substances of any kind. But in more recent years I've come from "Ban cigarettes everywhere!" to "Legalize everything!". Despite this I really don't have that much experience or even interest in most common drugs like the aforementioned cigarettes or weed (nothing more than a couple of puffs anyway) though I have since learned that I am not my mother and that I can enjoy a couple of drinks with responsibility because I have self-control.

Quarantine is finally taking it's toll on me. I am used to being on my own but recently I had been trying to go out and do more shit with people or on my own because I recognized that through the years I've denied myself some cool experiences just because I didn't have company or it was out of my comfort zone. And then this shit hit... They've already cancelled all summer festivals here in Portugal which is a shame because I was going to go to a couple but ultimately I understand and can't be mad.

I've been taking this time to pick up the acoustic guitar again (I don't usually have it with me, only my electric) and realizing how much I suck at it 😭
