I have not blogged in forever. At least not here.

The Girl is mine! Well, let's rephrase that. I am the Girl's! And it feels good. She went away to Argentina a little over a week ago. She'll be back this Friday. The poor thing is so sick and miserable right now. I think she might have some South American strain of the flu. Or maybe just a really bad cold that has been left untreated. She called me though and let me know that she's getting better. And What is on my mind. What.

What.

Is she the one.

Could be. Definitely could be. Of course I've always said there's more than one 'right person' for everyone out there and I strongly believe she is one of those right people for me. There are definitely things about her that make her worth keeping. But the best things I like are her blatant flaws. I don't even want to call them flaws. They are merely different parts of her personality that come together to form Melissa. Everything that is wrong is just so right. It defines her. It has molded her into the most Real person I've ever dated. I think it's all centered around her confidence and self-love. Good God that sounds freaking sappy.

Yeah so we'll fall in love, get married, make babies, go on trips, watch lots of movies, and eat ice cream out of coffee mugs.

I am in some damn pain right now. My eyes are killing me. I have to wake up and take my younger sisters (the twins) home. Home is in San Antonio and I'm not looking forward to the drive. But I'll get up early, drive slowly, and make it a peaceful excursion. And I'll take the back road home as long as I get to it before 3pm.
