SHITBURGERS.

That's right, kittens, when life gives you lemons you make lemonade, but when life gives you nothing but shit....well, all you can make are shitburgers.

Darren nearly choked to death on his drink the first time I said "Shitburgers", I never knew it was so funny until that moment.

So the immediate concern....my grandmother (on my father's side) is in the hospital again and...

that's a good point about how much the movie cost and how much it is bringing in. i didn't even think about that. all i know is i think it blew past batman movies away and for me to only have two complaints about the whole movie (bale's michael keaton impression as batman and the zoomed in camera on fight sequences) it was great.

i love dogs. i'm glad to hear you took him in. i think that snoops mckenzie is a fantastic name.

SONOFAMOTHERBITCHFUCKER.

So.....moving in to my new shambly home today.

Not the worst place, needs some work....

I shut all the windows in this ridiculous southern heat and began walking to the other end to turn on the AC....

Didn't make it. I was already so hot, and by the time I'd gone from one end of the house to the other shutting windows, on my...

None of the places in this town ever have AC. I guess everyone assumes Corvallis is so mild weather wise, usually.....anyway, i live in an older house with poor ventilation, and we are considering buying one of those portable in window AC's because of how many hot places we have lived in. I've never passed out though, it was only hot enough to feel miserable.

Sorry to hear of your internet woes.....did you get the ethernet cable hooked up to your neighbors? I wish for you non-dialupyness soon....

So, we'll start with a random peek into my Star Wars fantasies.

The most profound of influences on me as a child-closely seconded or tied by Doctor Who-were the Star Wars movies. Definitely something I'd always wanted to be a part of....something I'd always hoped would be a bigger, deeper tale (as was being led to Empire Strikes Back).

Obviously that didn't happen, but I...

Un-Dear place of employment:

You're not the only one who wishes I could be in 3 or more places at once. It'd be a neat trick, and even more efficient than I am now. I understand, though, that you assume I can be in 3 places doing 3 jobs since I do the workload of 3 people, but hey. Doesn't work like that.

It would...

Moving next week. Yay.

Bored. Lonely.

So dissatisfied with everything.

5am on a Saturday morning and it's quiet enough to hear a busted fire hydrant 3 blocks away.

What am I doing?

Religion has produced some of the most beautiful written works in existence, if that's what you mean. I've never personally read the bible in its entirety, but I've read some of the individual books, and some other selected holy texts, and enjoyed them very much. It's not hard to understand why so many people try very hard to live their lives according to the messages they impart.

OK, so.....I'm going to be pissed if this entry doesn't go up due to the internet acting wilylike.

This entry deals with that allergic reaction/outbreak mentioned a few entries back.....and I warn you now:if you do not want the thought of my genitals in your mind, it's best to skip this entry. The details are not pleasant, nor am I sparse with detail.

I'm not...

I've been trying for two days to write an entry on Episode 3.....

And I really can't put something of such personal magnitude to words easily.

Suffice to say, it's over. Another door in life slammed shut.

This is not where I'm supposed to be, and it's not an acceptable deviation either.

On the upside, the allergic reaction in the previous entry worked itself out...

OH DEAR GOD I DONT BELIEVE IN:ALLERGIC REACTIONS! frown

Long story short, I'm part of a lovely kinda medical experiment, and AUUUGH! This is not the miracle cure I was expecting. I hope it's just a part of it I wasn't told of, and that maybe it's my fault for being a little overzealous. EITHERWAY.

Star Wars next week.

Heard from my sister, which is amusing...

The weather is perfect this morning.

I stepped outside and the temperature was neutral-but once I stepped into the sunlight, it was so warm that I almost got the chills. There was no breeze, but you could feel the air whispering about with life. Crossing into shadowed patches as I walked, I could feel the lack of warming sunlight-I became again oblivious to temperature, but...

So, at work the other night, getting into the evening I saw more and more teen pretties walking in, dressed fancifully....

Ah, high school prom. Got it. Why, I wonder, were there so many lone females/groups of females. Where were the males?

I'd always insisted that I wouldn't go to my prom. It really wasn't anything special-and most "special" things are only truly as special...

good on you for sticking to your guns and for looking at the whole thing from your current, positive perspective.

still and all, I probably would have gone for the sweaty prom sex. that's just me, though, I think.... if a girl asked if she could blow me, assuming we're not in the middle of dinner with my grandparents, I can't conceive of a universe in which the answer is 'no.' I think my brain has yet to develop those moral restrictions. I need more sex and drama to stimulate their growth.
