Ugh. My wrist has been feeling fine enough the last few weeks that I decide I can finally return to my workout routine, as I'd been anxiously awaiting....especially since there is an odd little roll trying to form that would distort a tattoo!
And man. Months without lifting has REALLY sapped my strength. As in, practically having to start over new, and it still leaves my wrist aching. Ugh. 60-80 pounds is just....it's not supposed to make a dent in me, dammit! It'll be a slow climb back up....I don't have Calvin's uber machine anymore, either, so I'm fairly limited (but at least to the important things, and it means I won't accidentally injure myself with unfamiliar equipment!). Gotta figure out that funky leg thing....
In the "is this less or more traumatic" department.....I used to want to draw/write comic books, and every now and then I still get that little glimmer of a dream. I always thought a funny but neat idea would be Spiderman being accidentally blasted by Gamma radiation, turning him into a Hulk type creature. SpiderHulk, big green angry sticky and swingy, how interesting! I spotted a toy.....a SpiderHulk. Ugh.
On the upside, a little bit of the writing bug has come back to me....new material for my religion piece, and a loverly little sadist revenge tale.
The continued suck quotient of the Doctor Who revival further tortures my dreams of impossibility.....
There's really not much I CAN publicly report right now....but soon! Soon there will be glorious news.
