Explanation?
We had to change our uni battle of the bands week because someone was out of town with his other band. Had to change it twice for him. Then not only do we even get a chance to fit in the re-shuffled line-ups, but we get the BEST slot since a band pulled out. Then I get a call yesterday from Bombay Rock saying that Small Mercies' management, Sony BMG, wanted us to support them. Of course this is a way better gig than anything else we've ever had. Why wouldn't you want to do it? Unless you were a fuckhead, of course you'd want to.

If it was his other band he'd jump through hoops. Fuck discouraging all the excitement. Fuck saying we have no chance of winning the battle so why not just play at a shit time when no one will be there anyway. Fuck you up your stupid ass. I can't wait until I find someone else to fill your spot. Then I wont have to do you favours for nothing just so I can hope that you'll still play in my band.
