Stress is ovaaaa.
Brett's going to fill in on bass for us for Palm Creek. This is awesome. Hopefully we can make it heaps fun for him and make him want to stay on permanently. I don't think he really likes playing bass. Or likes our music. Or wants to be in a band anymore at all.
I'm excited. Much practice is needed. I'll have a fairly packed couple of weeks, with work, extra rehersals, multiple 21st parties, and Idol auditions on Saturday. Failing that I don't have band practice. Band is priority!
It's funny, because on Saturday night my friends made me perform for them so that they could judge me and decide how I'd go at Idol. And then once his drugs had kicked in, he was all "you do realise that if you get through it's going to affect the band, and that you're only ever going to be able to make pop music!". There's no way I'll get through, I really just want to get some feedback and some tips. I'm confident that I wont be good enough or bad enough to be on television.
Might be fun though.
