at about 4am this morning i had all these designs to do things today. come 11:40am i moved to the couch and slept some more. now, at 1:30pm, i'm thinking watching tv all day, just like i do every day, is the better option.
things to do include:
- call dude about gig at uni club
- go to tony's onstage music store to enquire about drum bags, and find out how much store credit i can get for my squire (is it wrong to sell a present?) and various unused drum peripherals.
- buy drum head for the school drum kit to impress bjarne into giving me his zildjian k ride cymbal which is just SITTING ON THE FLOOR IN HIS STUDIO. doing NOTHING.
- clean my cymbals
i can't afford the head. i was relying on the fact that the music store man would give me all the things i wanted for all the things i was offering to give him, without me having to fork out any money. in doing this i have to tidy my hair, DRIVE, talk to the guy.. oh the effort. and then i have to call this guy. i don't like calling people i know, let alone call people i don't know.
i think i'm going to send him a text.
