Wow! ... things are really looking up!
We got our Durango back, and it's doing great. just waiting til we get into a house/condo, so we can "bling her up".
Work has been getting quite steady, it seems employers like us enough, to call us personally. We heard that Zumanity is looking for two wardrobe positions to fill, .... just might go and apply, the both of us. That would be great if we could both get it, having the same schedual, ... meanwhile, I like being "on the bounce".
I finally got my "Studo" in order, ... now I can get back into my artwork, when I have the time. I miss my free time at the drawing table... I've been looking into the Art Community around town, i.e. First Friday, ... been thinking of finding a way to show some stuff I've done.
Today, we had a call at the Mandalay Bay Events Center, for 8 am, ... we bolted together 250 feet of truss ( a crew of four), and we were done in an hour!, ... and we still get paid for 4! ( Union Contracts are great! ) So we went to Tower Records ( which is closing, but we heard from the clerk, that all the other stores nationwide are sending their inventory to the LV location. So this one will be the last to close )... and we bought $180 worth of CD's, .... yea! The first CD's we have bought, in like a year! I expanded my Einsturzende Neubaten collection by almost twice! I also picked up Nitzer Ebb's latest, a two disc set, with the second being all remixes! Makes me wish I was still a DJ...ahhh,... how I miss those days...
Well, ... I have to go get things ready for work in the morning, ..
