The weekend is over!! But I guess it never really started for me! Since I did work all weekend.
Yesterday the girl I work with got sick, so I ended up working a 10 hour shift alone. It was not so bad though in the end. My boss loves me more and I made decent tips. I am ready for my day off. I just want to sleep in!!
Only a couple more days!
The weather is awesome right now! I am so happy. I love feeling the sun on my face when I walk outside. Seeing the pure blue skies. We may get a lot of rain and colder days, but the summers truly make up for it when the decide to finally show up.
I should know in a couple days whether or not I am getting this new place I put an application in for. If for whatever reason I am denied I'll have to bust my butt and find something quick! But I do have a month, so not too stressed out, yet!
*I hope everyone on the east coast stays safe. So far they say the hurricane was less destructive then anticipated, but there could be some bad storms. A few lives lost, but I hope no more are. I found this article (Hurricane Irene) very informative in case anyone else was interested in reading more about it.*
