I am in a Metallica mood. I am going out for my best friends birthday tonight and I was planning to listen to some dance music to get in the mood and it just wasn't cutting it. So I tried Smashing Pumpkins... a little too soft, then I see Metallica. And yep!

Have loved this band since... well for my whole life! ha! Seriously, my mom was a huge fan and her great taste lingered to me. I used to head bang and have the sore neck when I was a child!

I looked them up on youtube and came across a live version of For Whom the Bell Tolls. And usually I don't care for live versions... but they know how to kick ass live!!!!

I have only seen them once in concert, very cool. I remember my mom going to see Metallica when I was about six and I was so sad she didn't take me. So when I was old enough, I went! I don't care much now for the newer Metallica. Everything from the Black album back is what I love.
