So, the very weather I was trying to escape has kept me trapped in the city for another 24 hours.
And my new flight is at 6am. So either way, I have to get up early in the morning to go. I might just leave out at midnight and take my chances.

well, look forward to the long blog then. lol
and the weather isn't too bad... or maybe i just have no idea. i started getting sick yesterday[[mild flu maybe?]] and so i've been in all day today, doing nothing. i suppose it's good that i don't have work this weekend to feel better, but it's sucks the one weekend i have off a month is spent not moving and nauseated at even the thought of food...

Oh man, 4 hours in Memphis; just enough time to be REALLY bored but not enough to visit Elvis.
It was nicer today, even with the crazy 30 mph winds.
I have to talk myself into going to work out. I'm only here for two more days, so I should make the most of it.

You understand my fear... I mean my body is probably keeping that stuff for a reason, right?
Somewhere deep inside I fear my body is like a senile old woman, hoarding whatever whack-job collectible it can and I need to purge it before my innards look like one of those 2nd floor walk-ups with a narrow aisle amongst the bundles of newspaper, old magazines and junk to the single remaining 4 square feet of usable floor space where a crazy spinster lives with the 7 cats that eventually eat her after she dies.
I am torn here; I know not what to do.

A lack of sunlight except for brief periods and a lack of confidence and motivation has led me to keep to myself. This is worse than usual, though. Maybe I'm feeling time closing in on me, the sudden onset of true old age staring me in the face.

being alert is always on your side though. i normally laugh at a couple of friends i have who say everytime they're in chicago they feel like they're going to get jumped. that's just silly to me.
unfortunately though, women aren't the only ones preyed upon. and unfortunately when attacked, it's normally much more personal. especially with sexual abuse. i.e. the attacker knows them.
