So I've been yelled at by enough friends to stop with the self-flagellation and I've gotten back into my writing again, so that's positive, right?
I can't wait to see THE FORBIDDEN KINGDOM. I wish Jet Li and Jackie Chan had done this movie about 10-12 years ago, but I'm not complaining. I wish more martial arts and action movie stars would work together. I have a feeling ego issues are the biggest problem. It reminds me of how Steve McQueen and Paul Newman didn't work together until THE TOWERING INFERNO because neither one of them wanted to concede top billing to the other actor. I wish most stars would realize that if a movie does well, the star billing does not matter.
I seem to attract likeminded people (cranky, antisocial introverts) which on the one hand is flattering because it's good when cranky people can band together against the asshats of the world, but maybe bad because half the people are all over the country, and the few people here, I tend to not hang out with as much.
Maybe I should go out of my way to invite people out. I would love to hang out with someone in the next few weeks.
If anyone wants to go see Iron Man with me when I see it for the fifth or sixth time, let me know!

I heard something years ago about Chinese studios being owned by the Triads and that kept many from doing other things with other people. That might have something to do with it.
I'm down for Iron Man and The Incredible Hulk in June!
