I'm not very active, or active at all with SG Chicago lately, and I'm sorry for that. I'm missing out on some good times.
I'm in a mode where I can't be bothered to socialize or go out, and I'd rather not have a repeat of the time I spent the entire night moping into my beer.
I'm also not going to say I'm showing up, and then not show up. At least this way when I do show up, it'll be a surprise to everyone, including myself.
I think I miss having a small group of friends who live close by. I got spoiled by Bachelor Island (my old residence, which was basically a two-story house in the Pullman area), where I got to hang out with my friends every day. I work better in small groups. Larger groups just leave me overwhelmed and fading into the background.
