I got my disbursement and opened up new accounts with a new bank with the money. My old bank can officially _kiss my ass!_

So I'm not broke anymore! Woo hoo!

I'm impatient during that time between being broke and the first paycheck. But I came in at the start of the pay period so it'll be a full 10 days. Which is nice.

So I'm at the end of my first (half) week of work with Kaplan....

The negatives: I'm still not set up for the computer system, and things are very Wild Wild West/Deadwood right now while we get this whole department set up.

Because of this, I don't have my benefits yet.

My first day is tomorrow, 9am.

I'm excited.

The funny part is that tomorrow would have been my 7th anniversary with my old company.

I also get full medical, vision and dental my FIRST DAY.

How a dental association couldn't have full dental coverage is freaking beyond me.

I got the job!!



The crazy thing is, I went for three weeks with nary a nibble, and two companies expressed interest in me today. If the Kaplan University job doesn't pan out, I do have another place.

I'm just amazed.

The girl got a new job! They just hired her today! My time can't be far behind!
