My week of being a single Dad is almost up and (apart from some mild whining) I'm getting through it ok. I mean, ain't no sunshine... and all that (I just realised that some of you younger folks may not even get the Bill Withers reference, man, I'm getting old) but we're ok.
It feels strange, while I am carrying on with mundane tasks to think of what she is doing at the same time. I'm getting the Devil Children ready for school, she's crossing dunes. I'm typing up client profiles, she's stuck in a sand storm. It's kind of surreal.
Ok, I say it's going well, but I am leaving out the fact that I have a whole week of cleaning to do (
), so I am taking the day off tomorrow to make the house neat and tidy (it feels like when I was a kid and it's the day before my Parents come back from a trip).
On another note, did you all catch Saint's set which went up the other day? Talk about stunning huh?
