in other news, i'm taking libertylux's advice and putting the snub behind me. sorry for the drunken anger in the previous post but that was as firm a slap in the face as you could get.

my good friend carlos came to see me yesterday. it really was refreshing to see him. spend some time with someone who truly is an old friend; ive known him since i was 15. he and his sister, Rosa, came up for dragon-con, which they promptly snuck us into. we went to some guy's hotel room and drank blue boozy mixture til about 1am. Rosa kept joking that next year she was going to bring a video camera to tape everything, and market it was "Nerds Gone Wild".

i've lived here almost a year now and im a little wiser for it. i've made a handful of exceptional friends and almost too many acquaintances. but i think things are getting better for me every day.

i really dont have anything to complain about. i love my loft, i love that im going to canada for christmas, i love my ferrets, i love the weekend, i love my husband.

i feel lucky.
