i'm going to egypt. it's official.
sniggitysnags and i were invited by my best friend at work whom, ideally, is a native speaker of arabic. he's going for some soccer tournament in february and has invited us to go along. he's going to stay a month but we're going to stay 2 weeks.

according to www.xe.com, $1000 USD is 5,801.23 EGP, or egypt pounds. so. the airfare will be the only expensive part.
we've decided to do some travelling. not just within the US or even within North America. Time to get out and see the world, while we're still young.
