my boyfriend is the most hypnotic man i know.

i opened the door in that dress with my new hair and he was essentially speechless. looked me up and down nodding in the affirmative with a shit eating grin on his face. but the best part was when i walked past him, he exhales like he's deep in thought and when i ask what's up, he says "im trying to get some composure."

apres diem. drinks. food. laughter and bad dj music. we always order the hummus as an appetizer and wait forever to order entrees. i always have dirty martinis cos i think apres diem has the best in town. we lean across the table when we talk to eachother, our faces illuminated by the candle light, i get lost in the shadows playing off his face and his dimples.

i accidentally kick him under the table and he smiles and hooks my foot around his leg. i dont move it for an hour, even though my foot goes completely numb. i ask if he wants dessert and he burns his eyes into mine and laughs, making me glad for the dim light because i blushed.

he gets antsy because the dj sucks and because my dress is low cut. he tells me we have to leave.

he opens the car door for me and for fun we go to the porn store.
i spent $84 on porn.
but the $2k he spent to put a dvd player in his car is better.

we get to my house and for the next two hours i am completely absorbed in him, every line on his body. his hair is getting long again; it falls down the side of my neck.

we wake up bathed in sunshine, his phone rings incessantly but he doesnt answer.
" im so comfortable right now, every part of you that is touching me feels like it is meant to be there." he says, without opening his eyes.

i feel washed with warmth and i swallow a few times, and reply
