i saw this dude on a motorcycle get hit by a car today.

i was walking home from picking out my apartment, and was about to enter my building when i hear this huge crash. instinctually i ran over and saw this dude totally wiped out. he sits on the curb and is road rashed to hell and has a really gruesomely broken collarbone. the other guy who ran over didnt have a cell, so i ended up making the 911 call.

it was amazing. 2 other girls my age saw and used their car to block and redirect traffic. a few other people stopped by to see how they could help. a paramedic came over and started removing the man's clothes. i tried to offer the victim some water because he turned like ashy ashy pale and kept saying he was going to black out. then the firetruck showed up and i left.

adrenaline is a crazy thing. i came home and bawled my eyes out, called a friend for a little talking down from the edge.. i say traumatised because i really wasnt expecting to cry like that. but the guy has been in my thoughts all day.

lately i've been feeling like im in a good place, and at the right place at the right time. ive been working like a chinese kid in a nike factory but good fucking god everything is paying off.

what they say about karma is totally true.

Oh wow. eeek Glad it sounds like he is going to be ok. When my dad was in his 20's, he got in a motorcycle accident. If he hadn't been wearing a helmet, he would've been killed. His tib/fib bones were crushed though, he now has metal in his leg... which has caused serious problems with his knee 20 years later. A few years ago, he had to get a knee replacement surgery because of it. eeek
