Well, back froma loveley week in the field where we froze every night and I got strep throat. I survived on triscuits and water because MRE's suck.
Less than a month till we go over, and at this point, I'd really rather be there doing my job, the training here is getting monotnous. Day in day out, I'm actually enjoys sleeping in the fridge that is our hooch, after being in the field, steel case with dirt floor looks like the Ritz Carlton. I hear they are going to let us watch the Superbowl, a day off, first one since Jan 3rd, that would be a littel morale boost. We also migh get to drink beer they say too! But I'm sure there will be strict limits on it. Vegas is still, uhhh? So who knows, I really hope we go, I will do all the bad things I ever thought of when I was young, and old, just in case it's my last time here, which it won't be, I'm not getting as much as a scratch. Even thought all the news I keep hearing of casualties come from the unti we are replacing.
So, maybe I'll actually try not to be so cavalier and I will keep my head down once in a while.
Okay, I need a shower, I smell like, like......a guy who's been in the field for a week....basically not good. Write me more kids!!!
Oh yeah, everyone from Texas is thumbs up, but those not from there totally against, of what do those against base their opinions on?
