Okay, real quick, at 29 Palms, this place is God awful the high desert of California, nothing to do, will be here for another couple of weeks and then south to and Air force base before heading over. The condidtions are awful, this is the first interent/phone in 7 days. Anyway, appreciate the comments. Keep them coming, nice to have people to write to.

Okay, back to training, bought a digital camera, will attempt to post fab pics of this desolate joint.

Look at this, two days of internet in a row!! So, Cali still sucks but I'm on the main side of base taking this high speed survaillence course, I'm back in the scout sniper platoon so the training is way cool, much better than the rest of the battalion which is out in the field working hard, but we'll do our share as well. Today we're becoming photo-shop jedi masters. You have no clue the things you can see with $100,000.00 of digital camera gear. That stuff you see on TV, the behind the scenes Tom Clancy shit, well, it's that caliber of excitement. And it's also common knowledge so I'm not breaking any National Security by saying that, just really glad I'm on our side.

We spent most last week at the range, I have some nice second degree burns on the back of my neck from spent rounds falling down my flak jacket during close quarter combat drills, that will leave a few pretty little scars. I'm bald again, they shaved my head, I hate when they do that, but I guess I see the point.

Off again kids, gotta go learn more advanced photoshop stuff. Someone drink a nice bottle of wine for me, I won't be able to until mid-November.
