17 days left at home, about half done with the stuff I need to be but still have to do a lot, throw in Christmas on top of it and it makes for a joyful season! I'm not bitching, things are going very smoothly, shoppig is done, my orders are straight, I'm very ready to go, excited really, though I'm sure I'll miss home I am not yet, I just want to get this underway already, the transistion phase is what I don't like.
Tommorow the fire departments and police departments are going to get together and party like it's 1999 for my impending departure, that will be wired, the last time there was a party thrown for me I was 5. But this is moslty for another guy, his wife is doing all the work, so we shall see what Saturday brings.
Back to work for me, gotta tie up loose ends here, like I've said before, I'm not gonna be a firefighter for a year!!!! That's fucked up.
