Weekend is over, Marines were informative. We leave on Jan 3rd, we will work up in California, much better than NC as originally planned. I'm sticking with the sniper plattoon thank god, lots of others are being shifted around so I was sweating it for a bit. I was advanced in rank, always good, more responsibilty, more pay, more everything. I have yet to tell my parents these facts, I will have to go to their house one of these days for dinner. Mom's gonna lose it, I know!!! She hates I'm a firefighter so you can only imagine what she thinks of the military, she thinks that's way too dangerous. Parents.
What else, I'm at work, which, as some people know, is a very good thing, looking forward to tommorow, I'm off duty!!! I'ts been a long five days!!! How do you people with regular jobs do it?? Oh wait, they let you go home after work and sleep in your own bed! I forget, sometimes I wonder what that's like. But I do love my job.
