I'll never bitch about the goverment again, it may take them a while to get off their asses but when they do they do it right. I just got my disability rating and the monthly finances that will come with it for the rest of my life. Tomorrow I start house shopping, the USA just paid me back!!

I still get my check every month. Though you definitely got your a hell of a lot harder than I got mine. I'm guessing TDRL?

If I remember it right from when I was getting rated: TDRL = Temporary Duty Retired List. In most cases they don't move you immediately to retired status at whatever percentage they rate you as. You do some number of year on the TDRL then you go full "retired". Same money as straight VA, but you get the benefits of a military retiree. It may have changed since I went through the process.
