Well, the dinner is now over. The people are returning to their respective homes. I think it went over well. Lots of wine was consumed, food was aplenty... and conversation pretty much didn't end.
I believe that Cakemix will get a glowing review of the food (hopefully!) and maybe I can see her next time at one of the gathrings
I had a lot of fun cooking for everyone. I hope nobody felt shorted. You don't really have "side dishes" with Jambalaya, it has kind of everything all in one dish.
Cleanup will be a bitch tomorrow, but it was well worth it.

sorry i missed it. i did get your email, then totally forgot. i had the kid anyway. been working like 50-60 hours a week lately. that and the kid and this girl i am kinda seeing takes up all my time. sometimes i sleep and eat and occasionally shower.

She didn't see exactly where she was and I really didn't care either, she just compared it to the bowery which isn't such bad place it just isn't pretty or a tourist friendly place
