WELL HELLO SUICIDE WORLD!!!!

So let me tell you about the amazing week I've had.....

FIRST OFF!!! I made a deposit on a new tattoo by the super talented Alli Baker!! I already have one by her...


and she's gonna do some badass work on my arm early next month. So, I met Alli while looking to get some flash anchor...but when I saw her portfolio, I fell in love and knew that I needed something much more special from her. While she was tattooing my shin I learned that she's a fucking contestant on Oxygen's BEST INK?! WHAA?! This is her:

And then.............
So, I'm a water sign, a Cancer to be exact... but I am NOT the biggest fan of water, it makes me nervous, and I used to be (USED TO!) be really self conscience of exposing my body in a swimsuit. But I have this dog, see... and we live in Texas...seeee, and it get's really hot here (see!) so I decided that for her, we should just bite that bullet and head down to the swimming hole! And It was amazing!! I wasn't afraid to get in at all, because I wanted her to jump in and enjoy the water; and when she finally did... Lord, I've never been prouder!! Oh man......... what a lovely day!



and then...........
MY LIFE LONG CHILDHOOD DREAM CAME TRUE!!

I GOT TO SEE THE BEATLES, LIVE!!!!




Well, I got to see the Beatle that is... Paul McCartney stopped in Austin for his Out There tour!


I picked up some scalped tickets outside of the Erwin center and sat about a foot and a half from the roof (and paid $100 over face value)... but guess what, I got to see Paul McCartney!!! At the time I took that awesomely blurry android picture I was fucking loosing it... he was playing 8 days a week, and I was thinking about how in childhood, all I would listen to was the Beatles mix tapes my dad would make me, and our family road trips where I learned all the words to every song, and my mother singing along to Wings, and how when I was obsessed and saddened that I would NEVER get to experience them in my lifetime... but, there he was! SOUNDING GREAT! FUCKING PAUL MCCARTNEY, playing Helter Skelter, and Hey Jude, and Yesterday and When I saw her Standing There, and Something, and finishing his double encore off with THE FUCKING END OF ABBEY ROAD!!!!!!!!!!

Umm...

and BTW, i have a Beatles tattoo, it's an octopus gardening in a strawberry field, with (what's that!) a kaleidoscopic eye, and an Apple (as in records)

So, a couple months ago...Alissa came into town to shoot a bunch'a hotties, and my very very very very very very very very wonderful friend Simbol recommended me to her. And Mister_ did my makeup!!! WOW!!!

Here we are...


How fucking cool........... I always wanted to be a Suicide Girl...ALWAYS So fucking powerful and sincere and what an amazing opportunity.... I always always felt different, I'm 100% hispanic.... and I always always felt like I just didn't look "Latin" enough... I mean, I'm nothing else but what I am, and that is Mexican American....but I just don't look it. People are always asking me if my last name is really my last name.... If I'm half,,,,, If I'm adopted. Why do I have freckles? Why do I have green eyes? Why am I sooo pale?

well... because I fucking am.

I think that's what really appealed to be about Suicide Girls and the alternative aesthetic from an early age.... A celebration of what makes us stand out, what makes us unique! WOW! What a concept!

And tattoos, and piercing, and dyed hair... that's fucking control. Yeah... I was born with this skin, but guess what? I'm gonna make it my own by covering it in art. I was born with this hair, but guess what? I'd rather it be green or purple or red... and I'd rather shave of this side or that side or let it tangle. Whatever! MY BODY! MY RULES!!!

and now my set is gonna be up! Just around the corner! AND WHAT AN HONOR TO GET SHOT BY ALISSA...like, WTF?! I've been freaking out about all the amazing work she's done.... with Mewes and Charmaine and Apollo and Rocket and Simbol and Radeo and Mister_ and Venom and everything she's ever shot!

O man... epic

So, thank you to Alissa and Simbol and everyone that made this possible, and sincerely, thank you for being in this world, and letting me be here too.




..... and also I got really good parking at work today and all the green lights when I was running late, cus this week has been the shit.
