For some reason, all of my out-of-town friends like to let me know they're going to be in town with as little advance notice as possible. My friend Karl is no exception. I must admit it is kind of nice to recieve messages that say, "Hey! I'm gonna be at the airport tomorrow afternoon! Pick me up donkey!"
Good times had. He brought this DVD set of the British series "Traffik" that the Hollywood "Traffic" was based on. Mind blowing. Its basically the same plot as the movie with Micheal Douglass but much better and with heroin instead of cocaine. Filmed in Germany, England, and Pakistan. Well, I now know how to process opium poppies if the need ever arises....you never know.
